Dr. Robert Belajic graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Biological Sciences. He earned Doctor of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry where he was awarded the prestigious Albert Sheard Award for Clinical Excellence. He completed extensive post-graduate training thru University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry for certifications in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and glaucoma treatment. Additional training in laser vision correction management was accomplished through Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon.
Ophthalmology
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/ Biomedical Science. He received his medical degree with distinction from the University of Oklahoma Medical School where he was named the McKinley Williams Scholar of his graduating class. He subsequently completed his medical internship at Unity Health System in Rochester, New York and was recognized as the Intern of the Year. Dr. Hines completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Flaum Eye Institute of the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He was selected as a SuperDoctor Rising Star by his regional physicians and Texas Monthly Magazine in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
