Agave Grill & Cantina

This restaurant is getting a bad press because it is a restaurant by day and a night club by night.

Most of the reviews are for the night club.



During the day, this is an exceptional dining experience. The food is excellent and consistent. The more often you eat here the more you will start to recognize subtle touches of flavor.

For a light and healthy choice, the Ceviche is the best I've ever had.

Their Pork Burrito is great for meat lovers (I have one every Thursday for lunch!) The flavors are rich and deep. I especially like that the tortilla has just the right crunch. You will find yourself making the perfect bite - a balance of meat, tortilla, guacamole and salsa.

Another favorite dish is the Beef Tamale (I have one of these every Thursday too! You can "roll your own" combination plate!) The Tamales are excellent - just the right amount of Masa and nicely spiced beef.

Agave is known for their Mole which subtly walks the line between Sweet and Savory. (I first noticed Agave because they had a table at a local Chocolate Faire!!!)

All of their sauces are carefully designed and complement the dishes perfectly.

Service is friendly and efficient.

Oh, and did I mention they have the largest collection of Tequila's I have EVER seen!?!?!



Enjoy the club at night, but to really enjoy the food come during the day.
