I will never ever deal with this funeral home again. I selected the Speedway location since it was close to my home. But I regret that decision.

To them, everything was about how much money they could get me to spend. There was no compassion for the family; no one there that cared about our feelings. There was no refreshments for the family even though we spent a lot of time there. It was all about business.

They would not send my husband's obituary to the newspaper unless I signed a financial agreement that carried a high rate of interest. The funeral "coordinator" was cold and stoic toward us.

After the arrangements were set, that "coordinator" went on vacation the very next day and I was handed over to another staff member that I hadn't met. I felt badly treated and no one there cared.

My husband James DeMougin passes away 9/3/09.I Automatically chose Floral Park Funeral Home.

My family have been going here for a long time. I really did'nt know any one there.But the day 9/4/09 I went

to the funeral home to make arrangments for James with my 2 boys Keith & Cody and my sister Peggy Lahue,

My Uncle Darrell and my sister-in-law Joann Farmer. I was really nervous. But I want to tell you I met with

Garrent Young and Chad Qualkenbush. Oh my goodness they were awesome. They made me very comfortable.

It was like I had already planned his funeral.I felt like I had known them for years. While we were there we laughed and

cryed. I feel like they are my family. Every time I go to the funeral home they both greet me like you would a sister.

I get a big hug and smile everytime. I just can't say enough. The day of the showing everything was just like I had ask

for.Perfect because Jimmy was the love of my life. And I wanted everything to be perfect and it was. And the day of

the funeral and the cemetary the same perfect. And normally you just don't want to go to a funeral home.

But I don't mind at all. Well I hope I spelled everything right I really don't write letters very well. But I just

wanted to let everyone know what very special people Garnett and Chad are. Very special.
