David texted me back within half an hour of my initial query, let me know what he guessed was the issue with our non-clothes-drying dryer, and came over to assess a few hours later, the same day!

Even better, he was polite, kind and good to talk with, as he checked out the situation. He discovered that the issue wasn't what he had guessed--not actually a mechanical problem, but a vent/placement problem. He fixed it within minutes (dryer works perfectly, again), gave me tips on maintenance, and asked for way less than his original quote.

I feel like I have a new friend, who's just super-handy and knowledgeable about washer/dryers. If you need washer/dryer repair & live anywhere near David, call this dude. Seriously.

David is a hands down, amazing professional repairman. The best. He drove out of his normal service area to help us. He fixed our dryer after our ridiculous home warranty service told us it would be too hard, and he took a step further cleaning it out, and cleaned our washer too. His honesty was a welcome relief to every other service man that has ever visited our home. Thank goodness for David!!!! Don't even think about calling anyone else if you need a repair--call him and nobody else!

I cannot tell you how happy I was to find this yelp page and call David, here's why:About a week ago, my front load LG washer (with dryer stacked on top) started leaking mid wash onto the floor underneath. The washer was barely a year old (out of warranty) so I was confused and frustrated and called David for a repair visit after finding him on Yelp & reading a few solid reviews. Over the phone during this first call, he not only helped diagnose a probable issue, but even went as far as to tell me in his own words that it would save me a bunch of money and hassle for this particular repair/replacement to call GE directly as opposed to him charging for the service visit and potentially leaving any doubt in the landlord's mind that it would be what looked like an expensive repair/replacement. If you caught that I initially said "LG" but just now typed "GE," it wasn't a typo. Not only did David turn down a pay day for himself and offer some truly genuine advice to save me money during that first call, but it also turned out I misspoke about my washer's brand (in my defense, I was on the bus at the time of our call, ha). When the GE repairman showed up, pointed out my LG washer and promptly left with a giggle, I decided to call back David because of how much I trusted his opinion & knowledge. Mind you, I'd spoken to this guy once in my life at this point, ha, good first impression. In light of it being a different brand, he was able to diagnose a probable issue AGAIN just over the phone. He could have easily scheduled a visit the next day and charged me for the solution he provided me over the phone in the few minutes that followed, but he didn't. This whole ordeal could have cost me close to $200, but turns out it'll cost about as much as a bottle of fabric softener. Now, I'm not promising that if you call David you're going to get his knowledge or services for free and I'm certainly not recommending it because this guy deserves a solid paycheck. I can promise you, however, that you'll get a serviceman who'll be honest & knowledgeable & connect with you on a level that makes you feel like you're talking to another homeowner who's had their own issues with busted machines and tight budgets. If you've read all this that means you care about your money & your time. Don't waste either: Call David.

The Washer and Dryer Repair Guru is the way to go. We had such a hard time getting our Samsung Washer repaired. I know this may sound far fetched, no one wanted or knew how to repair it. The repair was simple enough a thermostat that regulates the washer water flow.David is simply great.Honest.What more could we ask for.

I can not sing the praises of the washer guru enough. Arriving on-time to repair our LG dryer which was not heating.
