        I've been a Northern California resident all 74 years of my life - the past 39+ years in Martinez - and Nob Hill Foods, Martinez is the very best grocery store I have ever shopped in. Their produce department? It is the standard bearer to greatness!

        cant believe how crappy the produce here is

        on 9-19-08 went to nob hill foods in martinez. the packaged mushrooms were all rotten. the cauliflower,broccoli and garlic were also starting to rot. IS THIS THE NEW WAVE OF NOB FOODS TO CUT CORNERS!!!!!!!!!!! im highly disappointed in the produce products. hope its not the sign of the times.. there meat/seafood department although is pretty good. goodlooking meats and helpful,polite workers. saved the day for this store.
