My mon and I were shopping in Chinatown and thought we d get some dim sum to hold us over till dinner. So at 2PM we ordered the Dim Sum sampler platter and split it in half. They brought the fried portion first. We ate it. Nothing special. Then they brought the steamed portion. I took a bite out of what looked like a dumpling and I thought it tasted funny. They have dim lighting in there so I tried to inspect it with some difficulty. It looked like chunks of really PINK (raw) meat inside so I didn t eat the rest. That was the ONLY food I ate that day. By 5:00 PM we were home and I hit the bathroom (for the next 14 hours). Both ends affected. I was sooo sick and liquid was pouring out of me. My digestive system wasn t really back to normal for about 3 days. And I had a horrible headache for 24 hours while I was living in the bathroom. IT WAS HORRIBLE. AND I KNOW I got sick from their restaurant because that was all I had eaten, and within the hour after the meal I started feeling sick (which progressed to being sick) and eliminating all liquid from my body without my control! DON T GO THERE! EVER! Try sushi instead!

After Black Friday shopping in Union Square we stumbled up Bush Street and into the Far East Cafe on a whim. We sat at the small bar up front for drinks, and just ordered egg rolls and potstickers for apps. Wow. The potstickers were the best we've ever had! They're big, fluffy and a more doughy than elsewhere. YUM. We had to order more!
