Starbucks Coffee

When did a simple cup of coffee become harder to pour than a double-tall, skinny pencil-necked caramel-fruit latte frappe? When I order a cup of damned coffee, I expect somebody to pour it right then, not wait 20 minutes while they serve nerds who don’t know what coffee is supposed to taste like. I finally asked the manager for my money back, which she refused to give me, telling me she would get me my coffee now…I told her I didn’t want it any more, I had to get to my appointment, and I just wanted my money back. She again refused and handed me my coffee and a coupon for 10% off on an iced latte for my trouble. They both ended up in the garbage, which is where Starbucks belongs. I guess it’s company policy: “Once you’ve got their money, never give it back”. Then again, what can we expect from a company owned by a guy who is so arrogant that he had his mansion’s landscaper bulldoze part of a city park to improve his driveway?
