The department s other divisions include gaming enforcement, highway traffic safety, law, racing commission and state police divisions. It regulates the casino, boxing, alcoholic beverage and racing industries. The department s head is the attorney general who serves as the state s chief law enforcement officer and legal advisor. The department also protects consumers against fraud.
