Woodlawn Kennels

I boarded my dog and cat here when I went on my honey moon. I was worried about leaving my dogs but after the owner walked me around I could tell they truly had love for every animal in there. My cat had a great place to stay with time outside her cage and my little pup was given treats and lots of love. Both my animals came back plump and happy. I will always go back. Plus the new renovations look great so far I can't wait to see it finished!!!!!!

Terrible. Arrived to pick up our dog, only to hear an irate customer complaining bitterly about their dog's treatment from earlier. Concerned but not overly worried I asked for my dog only to have my fears realized and my dog returned covered in blood. I touched the fur thinking she looked wet and sure enough she had blood all over her. I realized that a wound on her tail was still bleeding and spraying blood all over the room. It was like a Quentin Tarantino movie. Walls, clothes, the counter, and of course the dog were being splattered with blood. Having already paid before the dog was brought out and so shocked that I could hardly speak but stammered out a request for an explanation why they hadn't put on a bandage and was told because the dog would shake it off right away anyway.



Needless to say we went to the BBB and the business refused to admit that anything was wrong. Period. In the end they said that they would only give a discount on future service.



Bottom line, I wouldn't ever go again under any circumstances - even if the service was free. Really returning a dog covered in blood and acting as if that is OK? Simply terrible.

Me and my husband love Woodlawn Kennel our two dogs have been coming for years. We refer all of our friends they have great deals and really care for our pets. They have a really great staff that explains everything even though we have been coming for years...

We love taking our pets to Woodlawn Kennel located in Alexandria Va. Their staff is wonderful and the rates are great with lots of Group playtime options for my dogs!!

I couldn't ask for a better business to take care of my five pets when Im away. They come home happy and well take care of!!!
