        Dr. Matz was is a proud Iowan, raised in Dubuque. She received her B.S. in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. Subsequently, Dr. Matz attended Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa where she graduated with her doctorate. She then completed a three year surgical residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. She is a member of the Sutter Independent Physicians Organization. As well as, the American Podiatric Medical Association and California Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Matz as privileges at both Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Dr. Matz enjoys the wide array of patients she sees on a regular basis from age 2 to 102. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, swimming, and crafting.

        Great Visit

        I saw Dr. Amanda Matz for the fist time today for an inflamed hammertoe caused by a bunion. She was very sympathetic, personable and efficient. She gave me a few things to try to minimize the friction between my toes and scheduled me for an x-ray and follow up visit. The office is very clean and spacious. I filled out my new patient information forms and the doctor saw me within minutes. I brought things to do to fill my time during my anticipated wait time, but I didn't have time since the doctor saw me so promptly. Danielle at the front desk was professional, efficient and friendly, despite the fact that I called several times to see if there were any cancellations so I could get an earlier appointment
