General Info: Bridgeport Elementary School provides a variety of academic services to students in pre-kindergarten through grade four. It offers classes in reading, writing, spelling, math, science, English, social studies, health, physical education, computer technology and language arts. The school provides English Language Learners, special education, and gifted and talented education programs. It operates a guidance counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. The school additionally maintains a library stocks books, periodicals and newspapers. It conducts various parent-teacher conferences that serve as a resource for students, parents and staff. The school provides milk, fruits, pizzas, cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets and sandwiches for lunch. It is a part of the Upper Merion Area School District, which serves more than 3,500 students through several elementary, middle and high schools.
