Raven Used Books

Raven used books in Harvard Square is one of the best used bookstores i have ever visited. Particularly strong in academic categories such as philosophy, history, social sciences, theology, linguistics as well as having excellent selections for Art, architecture, photography, music, literature, and poetry. Though a smaller store than many, the quality of the books are unmatched by the larger shops. Plus the fact that most books are priced between 50 - 75% off the cover price makes it even more amazing. Also, they have a huge turn over which means i go there about every week or so. Lastly, they pay the highest for books in the boston area (though they may be more selective than others).

Best place for scholarly used books in the boston area. though the shop is smaller than many others, the quality of the books are unmatched. Especially strong with subjects such as philosophy, history, social sciences, art and architecture, the store also has very good selections for fiction, poetry, theology, etc. Definitely worth the visit.
