Dangle Live Bait & Tackle

Me n my braddah Hombre went to check out Mark one weekend. He was da best! Very welcoming and knowledgeable. He even shared pics of his catch n what it looked like after they cooked it! We were hooked...no way better to a Hawai'ian's heart than thru da belly!lol We even went back the next day...Aloha to you n ur wife n we will be back\000/

I met with Mark today. It was a pleasure to meet with him. I admit also that there are bigger bags of worms out there. I work in Columbia and going down town to Baltimore is a beast. The worms are very fresh. I will definitely be a return customer.

Columbia native and looking for a local bait and tackle shop. Wasnt even looking for bait, just wanted to talk with someone knowledgable and get a little help with lining my reel. Mark was incredibly helpful, taught me a few things about the basics of fishing while also properly helping me line my reel. Will definitely be returning for any small fishing need. Highly Recommend if in the area and need something.

First let me start by saying, the curbside hospitality (from Mark) was second to none!!! Okay, I had to get that out of my system, lol.

I stumbled onto Dangle Live Bait and Tackle literally on a humble. I live in Laurel off of 198 and with rush hour quickly approaching I was debating should I make that dreadful trip to Cheverly Sport Fair to pick up a dz. of their healthy blood worms. And although their blood worms are well worth the trip I hastily decided against it because of the 115 degree heat!

That been said, I went back home and googled bait shops in the area one last time... low and behold, the catchy name caught my attention.

Initially, I thought it was going to be a fluke when I was sent to voice mail but on the second call I was able to reach Mark who assured me that I would be able to get some blood worms, despite the shop being closed. Can you say, "Lifetime Customer" lol.

Upon arriving to the Garden Center I was tempted to get some ribs in the next lot but Mark must've saw me salivating in my truck because he walked up to my truck and asked, "was I here for the bait"... too funny.

Now, I will admit as I did before, that the blood worms are good size but, not the size of Cheverly Sport Fair. But, who's complaining??? I'd rather sacrifice .50 on worms and save $10.00 on gas any day, and so would anyone else with good sense!! Not to mention, the night crawlers are by far the fattest I've seen in awhile from any: bait shop, Walmart, 7eleven, etc.

But, undoubtedly the reason why I will continue to be a loyal customer... is Mark!!

There is nothing better than feeling comfortable about your hasty decision making, lol.

I mean, I purchased worms on the side of the road for God's sake, and didn't blink!! And it wasn't because Mark was this smooth salesman... nope!!

It was because Mark is a fisherman!!

We stood on the side of the road in at the very least 91 degree heat just talking about fishing tactics, lures, and bait... it was awesome!!

Sure, I could've took that trip to Cheverly Sport for the fat blood worms but that spot can be a madhouse at times... rush, rush, rush.

There is something very simplistic about my roadside purchase today... it reminded of being on the water and why I love everything that involves fishing.

Because it is very simplistic and personable.

Like I said, can you say Lifetime Customer?
