We have frequented Sushi Bar Hana since 1997 and the quality of the sushi has always been spot on delicious! Yoshi and Midori are the sweetest people that you could ever meet and they are very grateful to their patrons. Their food is very authentic and traditional to their Japanese heritage. Take out orders are easy and delicious also!

Allways excellent since 1981. Rainbow roll and soft crab shell rolls are the best! Very fresh, tasty and good portions. Just cannot buy Bob any more beers per mama.

We have been dining at this restaurant for more than 15 years (and counting) and it has never disappointed. This place has been in town for more than 25 years and is the only one run and operated by a Japanese family (talk about authentic!). My children and I love their tataki and we never fail to get two orders of that every time. Some of my favorite sushi are their melt-in-the-mouth uni (freshest sea urchin), gunkan (spicy chopped scallops), creamy hamachi (yellowtail), sake (salmon), and unagi (grilled eel, I like mine well-done). Stop by the Clock Tower in downtown Danville if you want to have the freshest and most authentic Japanese food ever!

Provided by SuperpagesThey serve the best lunchtime saba shioyaki box I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. On 12/9/10 their chef delighted me by putting two bites of a delicious hot roll in the box replacing the cold sushi that usually accompanies the little mackerel. Les Walker

Some of our dear friends took my husband and I to this restaurant Saturday night. It is very quaint, fresh, and delicious. I am half Japanese and it was nice to see actual Japanese people running a sushi place. I don't even eat fish but had plenty of other sushi to eat. The softshell crab, tempura roll, and tiffany roll were awesome. I would stop by if you like fresh good sushi!

Provided by Superpagesi've been to close to every sushi bar from Humbolt to LA and it doesn't get any better. its a skilled family business that makes you feel like you are a part of the family. everything is always fresh with surprises behind every corner. great Japanese food. not only has Yoshi (owner) trained sushi chefs over time who know have their own successful restaurants, but the skills he has he has passed on to his sons to ensure his legacy and great skills will never die. if you find something "bad" there you don't like, its not the fish or chef, its just your palate doesn't like it. they cater to your palate so if you know of a way you might like it better, experiment and ask if you might like something stronger like more chili oil or wasabi to make it suit your taste. Yoshi's customer service is always first class.

Provided by SuperpagesThe resturant is very small so you may want to sit at the sushi bar. The fish is always incredibly fresh and flavorful, portions are generous, and the staff are friendly. This gem is not cheap but it's worth every penny. The Maguro will almost melt in your mouth like it was cotton candy.
