        The best decision I ever made!

        This hidden gem reminds me of the classic neighborhood bars that dot the street corners in the Wrightwood, Wrigleyville, and Old Town sections of Chicago. It is understood that 'Livernois and Michigan' isn't quite the same as 'Sheffield and Addison', but this place - around for nearly 100 years with pictures on the wall that show it - is certainly worth the visit. Everything about it, from the owner to the bartender to the perfect pint of Guinness to Sampson the dog, is just good. Speaking of Sampson, you should be careful with this 120 pound bullmastiff puppy; he just might lick you to death.
