        sadly i was dissappointed. The service was fine however after reading so many great reviews on the food i thought it would be nothing less than spectacular ... all it was was Bland :(

        If you want the best pulled pork, brisket, ribs, burgers, chicken, or Tex-Mex in the Philly area, this is where you want to go. Even before Philaelphia magazine & myFoxPhilly picked them as #1, I knew they were destined for greatness. They catered my 50th birthday party, and did a great job with both BBQ and non-BBQ foods. They also represent the Eagles in the NFL Gameday Cookbook after being recommended by a few of the players. My favorite is the pulled pork, but I"m a regular, so I get the brisket, ribs and burgers once in a while, too.

        Linda and Jerry Mullane are BBQ experts who compete (with many trophies to show for it) and sometimes run BBQ events for the Kansas City BBQ Society (Linda is on the board).Their pulled pork, pork and beef ribs (beef on weekends only), brisket, chicken, burgers and tex-mex have won them Best of Philly 2008, #1 myFoxPhilly 2008, and representation of the Eagles in the NFL Gameday Cookbook (players recommended them).As for me, they catered my 50th birthday party, and showed off their skills with non-BBQ food as well as their mastery of BBQ. It's a busy takeout place, and the Trophy Tavern next door welcomes people to sit down and enjoy what they buy there, no doubt preferring that you enjoy it with some of their delicious beer.
