C D Stroud Fence

I had a wood fence installed around a new construction pool. Andy was the person I dealt with at Stroud. He arrived when he said he would, and provided an estimate which was close to two other estimates I received. He had been in the business a long time and was very knowledgeable. I decided to go with my gut and go with Stroud and am glad I did. I had a tricky property-line issue and was home when the installers arrived. They worked with me regarding placing the fence exactly where I wanted. They were friendly and professional- even working through the rain to get the job done. The fence is even, straight and solid. If you need a fence, Stroud is the company you want- I highly recommend them.

After over 50 years here in south Florida I can finally say I worked with a company without any aggrevation. C D Stroud just finished the install of our new aluminum fence and all I can say is....WOW!!!!! It looks AMAZING!!! The entire process from the first phone call to the finished product was fantastic, very professional and caring. Nothing but first class customer service and quality work. Gary (The Sales Rep) was THE BEST! First class!! Keeping me informed each step of the way. Great follow up! Just as the job was being completed, Gary showed up to make sure the workers were on target and most of all, that my wife and I were happy with their work and the results. That is true customer service. Now from the quality of work stand point, absolutely second to none! Perfection! Roberto (Installer Sup.) is THE MAN! He is truly a perfectionist in every sense of the word and C D Sroud should be very proud to have him on their staff. He is a true craftsman. I love this guy!! Very professional and really takes pride in his work. BEST I EVER SEEN! Roberto's crew showed respect and worked together like a well oiled machine. Completed the job on time and with great precision. Again all I can say is WOW!! We love our new fence. I am a recent new home buyer and needed to have a fence to secure my property. I already had someone lined up to install my fence, but at last minute I found myself left high and dry by an unlicensed contractor! I was referred to C D Stroud by my landscaper and made contact with Gary. Gary treated me with like a real person and walked me through the entire process. He calmed my nerves and assured me that his team would have the fence up within a few days. After mulling over my options, I decided to pull the trigger and hire Gary for the job. He was a man of his word and built a beautiful fence that enhanced the overall beauty of my home! His team was very respectful, cleaned up after themselves, and kept me in the loop with all areas of their project! I will refer all my friends and family to C D Stroud! CD Stroud just finished their second fence installation for me in two years. The first was for my business and the second was for my home. In both cases, Gary and the team at CD Stroud were top notch. In my opinion, they are the best fence builders in the area and when it came time for my second install, I didn't even bother to shop the market as I knew I was getting the best fence for the best price, bar none. Challenges on my end with paperwork, surveys, etc. slowed down the process, but Gary walked everything through the system like a pro. The installers were absolutely fantastic! I have an elderly neighbor that was very concerned about some of her plants and the team took special care not to disturb a single one. My neighbor is just as thrilled as I am with the outcome!



Would I recommend Gary and CD Stroud to a friend? Most definitely. I even offered to let them put a sign in my front yard telling everyone how pleased I am with the quality of the job, but CD was a bit too humble for that. :) In any case, I guess the little sign on the fence will have to do. Thank you guys for a terrific job!

Great Work and a Great team.

I have read the negative reviews and am confused by them. This was not the experience we had, in fact CD Stroud were great in every way. I am a stickler to detail, as Gary will tell you. But his estimate was fair and complete. They were on time, above board and produced a high quality fence with no hidden fees and on time. I added a picture of my fence to both accounts on YP.



I would hope all other companies I dealt with were as efficient and honest as CD Stroud.

I am a Property Manager managing properties all over FL, NJ, NY, and PA. For this job, my client, the owner of the property, wanted a 6' high wood fence enclosing the back yard of a single-family home in Ft Lauderdale. I received estimates from 7 licensed fence companies. CD Stroud's estimate came in the middle as far as pricing, but it was well-worth the extra couple hundred dollars for the worry-free, great service I received. The fact that the company has been around for so long, rested well with me. The field rep Gary who came to the property, brought a surveyor's metal detector and immediately found the property line. No one else did that. Gary knew the local building codes in and out. I felt completely at ease with him, and when I dropped off my deposit, the company was having a going-away party for one of their employees right in their office. This also gave me a good feeling, that CD Stroud was a tight-knit company that cared about people. They gave me a time-line to start the job of 3 weeks due to their busy schedule and rain delays, but they actually were able to start the job 1 week early. The 3-man crew who arrived on site to do the job was headed by a guy named Roberto. Roberto was friendly, organized and had a good sense of command over his men. He and his team worked quick, neat, and professional. They were in and out in 2 days, exactly what was promised. They left the property clean, and the fence that they constructed, was even better that I thought it could be. As far as the price, it came in exactly what was promised. No last minute add-ons or excuses. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat.

From my first call through the completion of my job, everyone involved was professional and efficient. My fence has received multiple compliments from my neoghbors. I would highly recommend this company.
