Gatlinburg Package Store

Aboslute worst service I have ever received. My wife who was home on R&R from a 12 month deployment to Iraq went to this store to purchase wine and liquor for a family vacation. Our 18 year old son entered the store with her. I will preface the following by saying that no one in my family is from the state of Tennessee. The staff of this store allowed our son to browse the store with my wife and I for 30 minutes. When we approached the counter to check out, we were asked to present our son's ID and told we could not purchase the items. We have no problem abididing by the law and would gladly abide. The staff should have informed us the moment our son entered that he should leave instead of waiting and embarrasing our family. I will NEVER shop here again and I highly recommend Parkway instead. The staff at Gatlinburg Package Store was highly confrontational and very rude and clearly anti-American. Any service member serving this coutnry should avoid this place entirely.
