Spartan Royal Apartments

Let me begin by giving all the positives I have encountered while staying here at Spartan Royal Apartments. First off, the new renovated rooms, kitchens, living room floors, bathrooms, etc. are stunning. Specifically speaking of the new granite counter tops, the new electric kitchen, new vinyl flooring, and of course I cannot forget about the beautiful courtyard patio with the free to use barbeque grill. Besides the new, what I love about this place the most is the simplicity. I am talking about the convenience of having the walking distance to downtown Hayward and all of its amenities. Everything is about 10 minutes or less walking distance away and that includes the Bart (I take everywhere including CSUEB), Lucky's Grocery Store, Movie Theater , Hayward Library, Hayward Dive and Plunge, Bally Total Fitness Gym (1 minute walk), Starbucks, El Pollo Loco(my favorite chicken), Farmers Market (Saturdays), Food Truck Mondays, and tons more places to go on B-Street. This apartment complex is right at the heart of Hayward and I am glad I live here.



Since we all know nothing is perfect I must now include all of the negatives about Spartan Royal Apartments. For one, the Bart track lies right at the back of our apartment so I hear it ever so often. The sound did bother me for the first couple weeks but after time passed the sound disappeared to the back of my ear. Another difficulty I have is that the 'on site laundry room' is usually packed on Saturdays and Sundays. I have to wait for my turn to use the machines, but I do not mind as long as I get my load washed, dried, and folded.



As for management, I enjoy having the option to contact the on site manager 24/7 when a problem occurs. For instance, a light bulb went out in my kitchen and I put a service request and the next day it was fixed. Rarely, I catch anyone in my parking space, but when I do I just simply call the on site manager and that problem is solved.



Conclusions, just like any apartment complex noise will be sometimes overwhelming but that almost never happens here. My neighbors are wonderful people and so are the other fellow residents that I have met. All the amenities I could think of are near by, management is wonderful and overall I would really recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new home.
