Aamco Transmission is in charge of servicing all of my 3 cars. They do a wonderful job as they are punctual, skilled and efficient. I trust them with my family's safety and so can you!!

Outstanding Auto repair! The crew did an outstanding job fixing my auto at a fair price. We have a fleet of autos and this is the place to bring them. Service is great fast and done right not to mention that their office staff is the best you will find, No jacking the price here they do the work that is needed and it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

So it was about that time where I couldn't bare hearing my brakes skreech any longer and knew I had to get them replaced. The only problem was I didn't know how to replace them myself and was on a budget. Luckily, I knew AAMCO had reasonable prices and to top it off they were close to my apartment. I'm glad I went with my guy instinct and chose to go with these guys. Not only did they take care of my brakes and not charge me an arm and a leg, they did a full inspection and gave me direct answers to repairs that may need to be taken care of in the future. For that I could give you guys 10 stars and I respect the fact you guys helped a college kid on a budget out.

Don't go near this place. They will rip you off with higher cost for the parts. I recently went there for a check engine light and they told it was due to one bad fuel injector and it would cost 300$ just for the part. I called the dealership and the fuel injector cost 160$ and when questioned AAMCO says they don't get parts from delaership and the outside vendor charges them the above price. It doesn't make sense when parts costs more than what the dealership asks for.

I took my car to AAMCO in Hightstown, NJ, because my Gas Gauge was not working properly, I was then informed I had a leak in my gas tank (I never smelled gas at anytime) but, okay-- if that would fix my gas gauge. I had them ordered a new gas tank from Advanced Auto Parts very near me and had checked on the prices of both parts, and the prices were right $137.99 for the gas tank, and $59.99 for the sending unit.



When I received the bill, the Gas tank cost me $213.88, ($75.89 more),the sending unit went up to $123.10 (63.11 more) a total of 139.00 more than Advanced auto was selling it for.



Then to discover they never tested (voltage wise), the sending unit to the old gas tank or even to the new sending or even to ground, unit needless to say the gauge is still not working.



Then given a invoice that stated "This quotation sheet is not a final invoice" HUH??

Yes, I questioned the jump in price for the parts, they hauled out a piece of paper saying that AAMCO sends them a price list of how much to put up the price according to the amount to be paid: example from $50 00 to $100 the cost should be 3% more and so on. So they say they are forced to do as AAMCO commands.



So I get my bill for 911.15 W/tax and labor, and my problem is still not fixed.

I also did not get ANY warranty information for my parts nor did it get any warranty on AAMCO’s work and nowhere in the building do I see how long their warranty on their work is good for.



I am a senior citizen and I can’t afford to be GOUGED like this. Yes this will be put on their review



$139.00 extra for two parts, thats $70.00 extra for each part. I still can't wrap my head around that. DON'T GO NEAR THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
