Quality Wood Products Inc

I recently purchased cabinets from Quality Wood Products' showroom. Cabinets included neat little places for storage of my kitchen items. I was really impressed with the spice racks, roll out trash, and hideaway features! I'm sure that anyone who enters my kitchen will be completely envious of these lovely cabinets. I no longer have to leave portable appliances out, but can tuck everything away in its own little spot. Thank goodness I didn't end up buying cabinets from Lowe's!!!

I had a lot of problems with this merchant on my ~10'x10' kitchen cabinets + installation. They had several workmanship / quality problems that they did not address in a timely manner. They did not show up to perform their work when they indicated they would; they did not return phone calls, etc. The quality issues included both dimensional problems and just plain sloppy workmanship. The center island was cut with the wrong angles and wrong dimensions and the oven did not fit. There was wood grain torn out on several cross cuts on the finished face of the door panels, two instances of screw points penetraing the finished surface, poor finish quality (incosistency, bubbles, etc). They had some out-of-level issues on the drawer fronts and pulls. There was discoloration on many of the panels that was not sanded out prior to sealing...I am not talking about natural wood grain color, but rather the "dirt" that rubs onto the wood from the cabinetmakers hands during handling...a gray dinge near the corners of the panels. These guys had to have been aware of the workmanship issues before they delivered the product, but they delivered it anyway. It has been 8 weeks since the defects were identified and sent back, and this merchant has not returned to finish the job and they do not return phone calls.
