Overall
Not Military Friendly!!

We had 4 people in our party. One 74 year old retired Marine and one Active Duty army infantryman. The other two were my fiance and her mother. Our server was great however, when we went up to the front counter to pay I had my active duty military ID in hand and I asked if they had military discounts, since every other Cracker Barrel store I've encountered from Kansas to Tennessee down to Louisania all had discounts for active duty military. The lady responded with a fast and rude, "No." My fiancé said shocked, "Oh that's nice!" I said "Yellowpages Love." Apparently Cracker Barrel is back to not supporting Phil Robertson and now the military. For me, this was the last straw.

Overall
No appreciation!

My family and I went to this Cracker Barrel on our way back home to Clarksville, TN. We love Cracker Barrel as a whole and enjoy supporting their businesses because of their strong Christian conservative values, and their stupendous support of our nations military. My fiancé is a 10yr Army Vet, and my grandpa is a marine vet from way back. This Cracker Barrel will never again get our business. Whenever we showed them our IDs to get their "military support" discount just like we have at every other Cracker Barrel restaurant, the hostess ringing us up chuckled a little bit and snippily replied, "no, we don't do that."

I'm sorry we even asked. Last time I checked, in this country, we as Americans generally try to SUPPORT AND APPRECIATE our nation's military, not laugh at them. That was a little disheartening. Thanks for the help Cracker Barrel, next time this country needs defending, we'll give you a call!
