Mark Pi's Express

Okay. One thing I love about this place is that their food isn't like the massive chain of fast food Chinese you see out there. Veteran seekers of take-out know what I m talking about. It s like every other Chinese food restaurant you go to these days serves the same exact food; same taste, same presentation, same prices, but under different restaurant names. Even their printed menus share the same format. You see this trend in Mexican restaurants too but that s another story.



Mark Pi s offers a different flavor to all the China Cities out there and I would love to see them make a strong comeback. One of my favorite dishes is their Cashew Chicken. Instead of using a brown sauce, they use a white (wine?) sauce which blends in well with their stir-fried veggies and steamed rice. Other favorites are Mark Pi s Chicken and Almond Boneless Chicken (ABC). There s something about that rich brown sauce that comes with ABC that makes me crave it.



I would eat there once to two times a week if I could. I used to before they went out of business in my hometown. Mark Pi s would trump the same old #$%$ Chillicothe has around here. Having said that, I would love to see them bring a restaurant to the area.

save your money and get pf changs frozen food at kroger instead. customer service is BAD! girl with chipped blue fingernail polish handled our food, blue chips got on my plate. We heard someone call in with a complaint that her food was cold and wrong order. the WHOLE time we ate there the associates loudly mocking the lady "b**ch should just stick it in the microwave" (mind you we weren't the only ones there plus there were kids present) 20$ for this service wasn't worth it! just bad SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
