I absolutely love how knowledgeable the volunteers and staff are. If they aren't able to help, they refer you to other resources or people that may be able to. They will also research the situation for an appropriate resource if they aren't aware of one.

Although what they do is good, if you have to work with Jen (coordinator), she makes promises that she cannot keep. When you call upon those promises she pretends to not know what you are talking about and even goes to the extent of pretending she does not know who you are. Then she says makes comments, "let the cat out on the highway for all I care" "or we don't have room for it" (when its very ill!) even though she just told another person to bring the cat in. I had volunteered with them 2 years ago, offering transport for cats to and from Yuba City, Marysville, Auburn clinic, and some other areas between. (Gas was out of my own pocket) When I had first approached them, Jen (coordinator) was kind and sweet. Said that she could help with spay/neuter as long as any other services where paid for our of my own pocket, yet every time I brought in a group of kittens, I was dropping hundreds into all of the services. I had to pitch a fit with Jen (coordinator) every single time just to get her to honor what she said she was going to do in the first place. I had "filled out the paperwork online" for the colony cats I was helping with, but she kept bumping me with excuses that this facility or that facility needed it more, etc., etc. They were unadoptable kittens and she sits there and plays god as to which cat lives and dies. I had to end up keeping them, she NEVER registered them! To me, if you are going to have an organization for the good of the kitties, it shld be just help not a pick and choose! She never takes accountability for her actions. Like I said, I have no problem with the organization at all! There was a person in my area that did not have a car so I offered to drop the kitty off for them and when I called it was just bash after bash, after bash. She abuses people who are desperate for help with the cats. I have no clue how she gets away with talking/treating people like that and no one comes forward to say anything! People need to start saying something.
