Magnolia Springs Senior Living

When my mother couldn't stay home by herself anymore, it was one of the hardest decisions my family and I had to make. We looked at almost every place in town and Magnolia Springs East made the decision easy. My mother’s apartment is beautiful, spacious with a walk-in closet and an outside patio that overlooks a wooded area. I can’t say enough nice things about the Executive Director, the managers and all the staff because their professionalism, dedication and passion to care for the residents are their #1 priority. Actually, my mother has been happier and in better health now than she has in the past 10 years! She has made friends and enjoys all the entertainment & events. She loves making her own choices for activities, food, care, housekeeping and really everything that is offered, along with having the privacy of her apartment. She decides what she wants and the staff works around her schedule. I used to call my mother at her home, when she was alone and she was depressed, always sick and seemed like she had given up on life. Now when I call her, she is usually on her way out the door to go do something fun or meet friends at happy hour. I highly recommend looking at Magnolia Springs East or the other Magnolia Springs that is closer to town. I know they are both great from what I hear about the other one and I personally know this one is great! I wish I would have made this move a long time ago. My mother is happier, healthier and the staff at Magnolia Springs East gives her so much attention that she is getting spoiled! They have wonderful food; they take her places in a new Cadillac; housekeeping does her linens, vacuums, dusts, and deep cleans her apartment once a week. Every day they make her bed, take out her trash and wash the dishes in her sink. They have care staff around the clock and a really neat emergency alert system, so I can sleep better knowing she is being taken care of by people who truly love what they are doing and really care about my mother. I highly recommend Magnolia Springs. Don’t make a decision without visiting one or both Magnolia Springs.

My parents have recently moved into Magnolia Springs East. Our large family lives in Oldham County and Jefferson County, so the location is perfect. When we visit, everyone is always smiling. The employees are so helpful and nice and treat everyone with respect and the upmost consideration. The managers are all wonderful and have gone above and beyond to help find solutions for my father, which, in turn, has eased the stress on my family. I highly recommend Magnolia Springs East. It is definitely the best place in town and I have looked at many places. If you are considering any type of care for an elderly parent, you should look at Magnolia Springs. They also have one by Shelbyville Road, close to Oxmore mall. I have only heard good things about the other facility, as well.
