Love the piano it is a great touch, Woody's has a piano player named Jerry that is very good. I went to Woody's this past week with friends and had a good dinner. I had the tbone it was cooked just the way I like it medrare, it was perfect. Our server Emily was awesome. Woody's is great.

Went with a friend using Groupon. For two people, they automatically added an $8.00 tip. I would never go back to a business that is this unethical.

Last night my girlfriend and I tried Woody's (Steak House), we heard about a really good deal. Filets two for one on wednesday nights, awesome. Did not know there was a piano bar, and I love entertainment like that, David was pretty good. The steaks were very tender and full of flavor. We thought the wine list could have a few more options. And our favorite part of the night was when it got a little later and we moved up to the piano with some of the regulars. They told us of the ghost that lives at Woody's and his name is George, now we did not get to meet George last night but we were told that its a real treat.

Every time we come to woody's, something is wrong...either the service is slow, steak is not cooked right, poorely prepared food, out of something, etc. Usually just one of those things...but tonight, the service was awful (Salads took about 20 minutes to come out, very Slow to refill drinks and check back, even forgot to "ring in" one entree but did compensate with a dessert, which wasn't that great), the t-bone steak was overcooked and totally fatty (too bad for $21), and the cloth table clothes were wet. Have you ever heard the term "wet blanket"? Well a wet table cloth gives the same effect! Over the last 4 years, we have visited them time after time in hopes that things had improved but this was our last visit to Woody's. We are done. No more visits from us, which is sad because I love their burgundy filet tips! Until we hear that woody's fired their entire waitstaff and kitchen staff and has a new manager that knows how to run a restaurant, we will not be back. Thanks for the memories!

This week after work I joined some friends at the lounge at Woody's for drinks and in one of their private rooms they had a tyivial Pursuit tourament starting. We put a team in, and I dont know if I have ever had as much fun. A Blast. The food was good the service was good. We had a really fun time the crowd was awesome. I think we will for sure do that again.

Order the sirloin steak for two. The menu board by the front door said that on thursday the special was the steak for two. So my wife and I kinda already dicided on what we were eating before we went in. But when we got inside the door a sizzling plate went by, and made me so hungry. We were sitted and the first question we had was about the plate we saw on our way in. The waitress said it was the steak for two and that is what everyone orders on thursday night. She then told us that she had been working at Woody's for years, and how they had been in business since the fortys. The steal platter came out making a ton of noise, and the sirloin tasted just as good as it sounded. We loved it, and a great impresion for our first time. My wife and I recommend Woody's Steak House.

Love Woody's Steak House, was a honor to get to meet Mr. and Wrs. Woody years ago. Havent been in to eat in a while but made it out there tonight, and every thing was great. His grandson hasnt changed a thing same great food. Its casual dress with upscale food. And great service, they were very welcoming. Tonight i had the ribeye, it was a masterpiece, cooked just the way I like it. The taste of the ribeye was wonderful. We will eat with Woody's every chance we get.

Has been a while since we have been to Woody's Steak House. But the food was still the best in Nashville, We loved it. But on this trip to Woody's we were entertained by a piano bar. And that was amazing, just what the docter ordered, a relaxing good time. The Crab Cakes and the ribeye. Woody's is a home run every time.

Went to Woody's recently and it is an awesome place to eat! Everything from the service, drinks, appetizers and steak dinners were wonderful. We were a party of 8, and everyone agreed their meal was great. Among us, we had prime rib, pork chops, filet mignon, and new york strip. And the homemade cheese cake was exceptional. Ask for Vanessa when you go in, she was a great server! We will be back soon.

I dont know how Woody's Steak House has stayed open for the last seventy years with this special they run. Every wednesday Woody's has the filets two for one. We had the best time tonight. We had to wait in the bar for a little while but that was great. Its just like the show Cheers where everybody knows your name. Well we were sitted and that is when things got good. Those filets were awesome. And we ended up getting a dessert, which was this huge piece of chocolate Cake. It was good.

Our daughter and son-in law have been tring to get us to go to Woodys for a long time. Man, was it good. The food was great, everything was good. our favorite thing of all was the building it self. It lokos like an old mansion from the civil war. And right when you walk in you feel all warm and cozy

My husband and I love this restaurant. I usually get the filet and stuffed potato and my husband gets the ribeye and it is always to die for. I would highly recommend this restaurant its our favorite. We always ask for Carrie as our waitress shes the best.

I've been going to this restaurant since Steak & Ale closed at Rivergate. The steaks will melt in your mouth. I've tried almost everything on the menu. Can't think of one item I didn't love. It's a must try in the area. I recommend to all my friends. I've to party in the upstairs banquet room. Great Service and Great Food! Try the bar also, they have great mixed drinks.

This restaurant should be shut down!A friend told me about their steak for two,so I took my husband here for his birthday.After ordering our meals,we decided we wanted to try the onion rings for our appetizer so I got up and tried to catch our waitress but she slipped into the kitchen before I could get to her.I popped my head in to get her attention when in horror I saw the following:the cook was smoking and his ashtray was sitting on top of the grill right above all the chicken and steak,there was a large collander of shrimp being rinsed in a sink full of dirty dishes,and there was a whole countertop full of meat that just did not look right,the meat was raw yet brown like it had been sitting there for a while.Needless to say,we RAN out of there!All seems well from the front end of things,but behind closed doors,it is a horror show!!!!

First off, very clean and smelled great.

I had the CrabCakes for an app., and it was incredable. The salad was good. Then the steak got to the table, and it was perfect. I had the strip, it was the special of the night. I got with some kind of spicey rub they offered, simply perfect. Service good, wine good, food very good, the steak was my highlight.
