I would have given them less than one star if it was an option. We went looking at used cars today. We found one we liked a Volkswagen Jetta for my teenage daughter. First it was lightly raining and no one wanted to come out to help us. We went inside to inquire about the car. They gave us the keys but the car wouldn't start the battery was dead. They jump started it then promptly went back inside. We looked at it briefly then left to go to look at some other car dealerships on route 46.



My daughter decided she liked the car enough to return to take a test drive. When we returned nobody was at the dealership. They had a sign on the door stating they were on a test drive. We waited 15 minutes then called to notify them we were waiting for them and wondered when they would return. They stated they were on a test drive and would return shortly. When they pulled up the two salesman exited the vehicle without a customer "test driver" in sight. I laughed and told my daughter nice test drive



We went into the business only to be quickly reprimanded by the older salesman. He was so rude and I couldn't believe his audacity. He said what you just leave without saying goodbye? I says yes we left to go look at other cars but now we are back to test drive the Jetta. He continued to reprimand me saying I should have told him I was leaving and that it was rude. I told him I felt they were rude first for not coming out while we were looking at cars and then again for going inside after starting the car. I was a bit upset at the tone he was taking but initially was willing to overlook it because my daughter wanted the car



I explained again that she would like to test drive the car. The salesman continued to raise his voice and tell us we were rude for leaving. My daughter kept apologizing and yet he persisted at this point I was ready to leave I'm a grown woman and won't be treated like this but my daughter asked me to please stay and take the test drive



I stated a final time that she was interested in the car. He continued to raise his voice and said he didn't want us wasting his time because it was raining. I explained that we had cash to pay for the car and wanted to drive it. At this point he stated the sticker price was non negotiable. Funny I don't recall asking him to negotiate on the price since we hadn't even taken it for a test drive. At that point I told him he could keep his car and left



I would not ever recommend this dealership based on the less than professional behavior that was displayed. Maybe he was having a bad day but I did nothing wrong and wasn't rude to him. CAVEAT EMPTOR. BUYER BEWARE!!
