I called Jim when my dryer failed and it was too old to get parts (it was very old)
I told him what I wanted and he ordered it and brought it out when it came in. I was very happy with his professionalism and his service. I would rate him first class all the way.

Jim came to our house, looked professional. Diagnosed the problem with our oven and told us what the repair would cost. We agreed and paid for the part as requested. A week later we had not gotten an update from Jim so we called, part is "back-ordered". Ok so we waited another week, no call again. This time he did not answer the call and has not come to fix our stove or return our money. I feel that this business is a scam, I wish I would have done some research before calling him. This business has complaints on multiple sites, and currently a D- rating from the BBB. At the time of this happening it was an F rating.

Jim scammed my wife and I. After diagnosed our oven with a bad igniter, we waited a week for him to get the part. He finally installed it, only to realize it was the wrong part. He had to supposedly reorder the right one and it's been another 1 1/2 weeks, and won't answer his phone or return any calls. He got my wife to pay $169 up front and took off! I just completed the repair myself, and the workmanship was appalling on his so-called repair. The old igniter was mounted upside down, barely attached with screws, and he cut wiring that had no need to be cut! I've never repaired an appliance, but easily got the part overnight, and had it repaired in 30 min. Ridiculous. DO NOT use Appliance Specialists - others in the area have had similar experiences.
