Pergola Des Artistes

What a great find! We had tickets to "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and originally planned to eat at a place next to the theater, but they were closed up. A quick walk around the block put us at Pergo-La-Des-Artisites French Restaurant. We had the garlic shrimp and sauteed scallops. The vegetables were very nicely done (tasty and crisp).. The wait staff is quick and attentive. The decor is quaint. And the prices are very reasonable. We plan to go back again.

I have been eating at this Theater district restaurant for over 40 years. the food and the service gets better and better all the time. I have reccomended Pergola to countless friends and they are as happy with Pergola as I have always been. The food is really good and the prices are very moderate. After 40 years this place is very comfortable for me. I am not surprised that everyone I have sent there feels the same way. If this place were anywhere other than the Theater District, it would be one of New Yorks top restaurants.
