DON'T USE THIS SERVICE!
Terrible all the way around !!! Workers left trash all over yard on weekly basis - when my son-in-law saw them in action they responded by tossing a trash can at him!!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE !!
Republic is wonderful 63 dollars a quarter !!! can't be beat-

Terrible customer service. Office lady Jean is terrible. I called months ago to cancel service and apparently they never put in the request so now not only am I charged for the months after I cancelled service, but late fee's and facing collection because they never cancelled my service and closed the account. Would not recommend to a friend!

I have been a customer of Econo-Haul for 15 years and very rarely a problem until the past year where we had 3 separate incidents. When I notified the office by e-mail, she played it off like it was no big deal. Well she found out what a big deal it was after 3rd strike. They lost a 15 year customer. I hired another company Ever Green at a lower rate and they pick up yard waste and recycle every week not every other week like Econo-Haul. Most important their customer service is friendly. Who needs this kind of service! Do yourself a favor and bypass this company! If you already have service with them, good luck dealing with them.

I have been dealing with EconoHaul for 8 yrs at my current addrss & at least 10 yrs at my previous address. I have never had any problems with customer service. They will take 1 large item each week at no additional cost. I recently put a loveseat out and it wasnt picked up, so we contacted them and the lady advised us the truck didnt have room & they were out the following day to pick it up. I have always found them very accomodating and friendly.

Provided by SuperpagesThe crew was terrific. The curbside service was great. I will miss them. The office and accounting made this a horrible experience. I paid every month for over two years. But they bill every other month, so they tacked on late charges to my account without notifying me. I ended up, after paying the service charge every month for two years, owing them an additional $102.00. For nothing. For bad bookeeping on their end. Argued the point with the customer service person on the phone and she refused to see the pointlessness of the charge. They won't have any more of my money. Shame, too, because the service outside the office was terrific. But watch your account! Predatory!

Provided by SuperpagesEcono-Haul is the best ever! Anything on the curb will be taken. Even took a recliner chair that no one else would take (Goodwill, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, etc.). We have been loyal customers for several years and have absolutely NO complaints about anything and have recommended their service to everyone in our development. I give them a rating of A+++++.

Provided by SuperpagesAbsolutley horrendous customer service. Totally rude and obnoxious office staff. For Goodness sake it's trash. Met our driver one time, he seemed ok, despite looking liked he was dragged out of bed with a hangover from the worst side of town. Then he lied about us two times to the office and the office said "We have to believe our driver". Ok then....believe your driver and I will take me and my family's accounts with me.

Provided by SuperpagesI was with them for over 6 years until now. I had one issue with the removal of my trash and received rude and poor customer service from the office staff. The office staff act as if they are the only trash removal company in the state of Delaware. Cancelled my service and went with someone else.

Provided by SuperpagesI agree that the office staff can be extremely rude. What ever happened to the customer is always right? I am elderly and they always lay my cans on the ground and never replace the lids. The cans are difficult for me to lift. I too am considering changing providers!

Provided by SuperpagesGreat service until there is a problem. Destroyed my trash can and offered one month free (value $21.50) for a trash can that cost $60. Unacceptable. Staff was very rude when I questioned their methods. I will cancel service and find a trash company that appreciates my business, I suggest you do the same.

These guys go through your trash looking for "suspicious" behavior. By suspicious, they mean anything they might be able to nickel and dime you for. They are a cheap price upfront, but by the time they get done charging you for everything they "find" in your trash, it costs a lot more than the other ones. Your old toilet - that's hazardous waste (10 buck surcharge). Got an old desk... they've got a surcharge for it. Like to pack your lawn bags full - be prepared, they're too heavy (another surcharge). If you've got it, they'll find a few ways to charge you for it.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DECENT, EXCEPT FOR THEIR OFFICE WITCH. THEY ARE LOSING A LONG TIME CUSTOMER STRICTLY BECAUSE OF WHAT SHE DISHES OUT AS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I NEED SOMEONE TO PICK UP MY NEATLY BAGGED TRASH NOT TRASH ME WITH HER MOUTH

We have been with Econo Haul for the past three and a half years, ever since we moved into our home. We have never had any major problems. The trash guys take everything and leave the cans in the driveway (not in the street). I would recommend to a friend!
