Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

I have been living in newport news 15 years and this is still my one and only stop for Chinese take out.... They are quick.. and the food is always remarkable... the lady on the phone could use a lil customer service experience.. but other than that... highly recommend

This is the #1 Chinese restaurant. The food is great and on time. I lived in Va Beach and Norfolk and been to the Chinese restaurants there and tHong Kong beats them all.

The food was good, though my experience with customer service was not as great as others have posted. Maybe they were having an off day for that. When I called in the order I was not told my total or how long for delivery. I called back about 15 min later to ask how much so I could get the check ready. At that time I was told no checks, cash & credit only. It would have been helpful to have told me that the first time I called, don't ya think? So I gave credit card # instead, not a big deal. Delivery was longer than I would have expected, though nobody told me how long to expect. I called after 45 min to ask how long & was told driver is alraedy on the way & then was hung up on. So, it's a very good thing the food was good. I may give them a second chance to provide better service. Could just be an off day. The driver was friendly, and the food was good.

I don't know if take-out is preferred to eating in - the main thing is that the food is consistently good, the staff is friendly, and their delivery and timing couldn't be better. I have lived here since there was only the Kam Ling in Newmarket and perhaps one or two others. Since then, Chinese restaurants have sprung up at ever corner but I keep finding myself going back to this little gem, the Hong Kong.

I Drive by 5 other chinese restaurants to get to Hong Kong. I have been going there for over 15 years. Its always yummy!!! I highly recommend them!!

Amazing, healthy food, fast service, nice people. What more could you ask for in a take out restaurant? Nothing! Love this restaurant, I highly recomend it.
