Pc Repair Garage

If I could give this business negative stars I would, in fact, I'd pay to so other people wouldn't trust these crooks! Brought my laptop in little over a month ago to have my dc jack replaced as my laptop wouldn't hold a charge anymore unless I held it in a specific way. $70 down-payment up front was my first mistake. Some backstory, this company is also known as "Five Star Techs" as well as "E-lectronics Repair" and they have two different stores. The owner is also the only repair person working for both companies and his name is E-hab. Let me assure you, he doesn't know what he's doing.

I dropped off my laptop and two days later, the owner called me and told me it was repaired. I came in that same day and picked it up, only to drive an hour home and test it out. It didn't charge and I tested it in three sockets I knew worked. I told the repair guy what happened and brought it back the next day. He repaired it over-night and I came in to pick it up the next day. This time it held a charge for 15 mins, then stopped charging. I brought it back the next day and after fiddling with my laptop for an hour, the repair guy admitted it did the same for him but this time, it "should be fixed". I brought it home again with high hopes as I tested it in the store and it worked fine. Alas, I got home and after 25 minutes of gameplay, it stopped charging again. The repair guy admitted to never looking at the model number of my computer and his clerk lied when I initially called and asked if they had the specific dc jack for my specific comp model. I asked twice, she confirmed twice.

In the end, I was robbed of $70, insulted, and accused of saying things that I'd never said. He refused to refund me of my money even though the computer STILL doesn't work and it completely baffles me that he still has a business open. The repair guy expects some sort of recognition for being nice to me and after supposedly years in the computer repair business, he called my computer problem 'odd' though he never used the correct part to repair it. Of course it won't work with the wrong part! E-hab said I, "have a pretentious attitude" (when telling my friend about how he used a 'universal' dc jack-his words, not mine), said I had a lack of patience (I waited a month for an hour maximum job to be completed over the span of 8 trips to and from his two stores), and insulted me, as a customer.
