SphereNix was first established back in 2006 as an I.T. solution provider for profit. We wanted to provide technical solutions to small businesses focusing on Cloud Services and On-site Help Desk. Some of the services we offered when we first launched were but not limited to: Web Hosting Email Services On-site Technical Support Remote Technical Support At the time, the industry was booming with these requirements but the cost of data centers and the rise of gas prices were starting to cut into our profits. Cost became an issue and clients were closing down their businesses. Our business suffered financially and we had to eventually dissolve our company. After a few years of planning, we (SphereNix, Corp) changed our business model. We wanted to offer the same services but expand our audience. We also wanted to do something meaningful that people could value. Our idea of having such a business meant that we would be giving back to our community and assisting individuals, schools, and small businesses. This is when we decided to go non-profit and established our non-profit organization in January of 2015. SphereNix is a non-profit organization that focuses on assisting individuals, schools, and small businesses with their computing needs. We provide a wide range of technical support and services at no cost in the City of Oviedo and its neighboring counties. We believe that individuals, schools, and small startup businesses should be able to focus on what matters most by eliminating the costly hours of technical support. Our services are offered at no cost to you. Our organization appreciates any contribution to support our vision of providing these services at no cost. All proceeds are used to help sustain this organization and provide donations to numerous charities and qualifying individual causes, such as medical fundraisers, educational scholarships, and more. Said organization is organized exclusively for charitable causes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Upon the dissolution of the organization, assets shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code, or shall be distributed to the federal government, or to a state or local government, for public purpose. Any such assets not disposed of shall be disposed of by a court of competent jurisdiction in the county in which the principal office of the organization is then located, exclusively for such purposes or to such organization or organizations, as said Court shall determine, which are organized and operated exclusively for such purposes.
