No mail has been delivered to my home in the W section, at of 8:50 PM on Tuesday October 14. I have letters in my mail box to be picked up. The flag on my mail box is up and so are the flags on other mail boxes near me. No mail carrier had visited my house or my neighborhood today. I called the post office today at 7 PM and spoke to the manager, Jim Davis, whom I have spoken to a number of times before (since a number of my packages have been lost and two never found). Jim told me my carrier, Jack, is not scheduled today and they do not have enough help to deliver the mail. He had 200,000 pieces of mail to deliver today and has 40 lost packages. Major kudos to our favorite customer service clerk Eddie Jensen. He went to long lengths to make sure I received my misdirected package. He's a gem!

The mail delivery at my home, located in the Hammock Beach section, is "at best", bad, if not terrible. For the past 2 days, I have had "stamped" mail in my mailbox (WITH THE FLAG UP) to get picked up for impending delivery and on both days, while delivering mail to my neighbors, the carrier (in vehicle) failed to even stop to pick up this mail. This has occurred the past 2 days, but it's happened on multiple occasions. I've lived throughout the US and have never had this happen. A pattern exists and should be dealt with by the appropriate management. If an explanation exists, I want to hear it. I want to know if any others within my community has had issues with this carrier, and if so, this person should be fired. A person working in an area of responsibility, (supposedly with public trust in mind), should be dealt with when not responsive and NOT DOING THEIR JOB. I write this because I cannot seem to get a call back from management at the Post Office. Still waiting for a call back?
