Pomme Frite

Wonderful a wunnerful. Best escargot, duck, steamed mussels, pommel frites. Really a Belgian french intercontinental gourmet restaurant.

We came in to enjoy a refreshing beverage on the patio. Instead of a friendly smile from the staff, the waitress had a crappy attitude and was very unfriendly. She then told us the patio was reserved for those who were eating, so we decided we would eat something. After looking at the menu we were told there was a $5.00 split charge even if we shared fries....which could only ordered as a side dish to an entree. She told us if she needed our table we would be moved. The entire time she was speaking with us her face looked like it would crack if she smiled. To top it all off she didn't ask if we wanted anything else & handed us our check in which she had hand written "CASH ONLY" at the bottom. NINE NINE NINE !!!!! Definite NO GO !!!!!

My husband has taken me here twice for my birthday and it's our go to place for a romantic dinner when we're in Palm Springs. Food, service and atmosphere are all wonderful. If you're looking for a quiet, grown up place for a great dinner this is it.
