Founded in 1981, Porter s Day Care and Educational Center, also known as PDCEC, provides a range of services that to assists with the cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development growth of children. The organization conducts Parent Invested in Education programs. It is affiliated with the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children, United Way of Philadelphia, PAPathways and Southeast Regional Key. Porter s Day Care and Educational Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. It works in partnerships with Archdiocese of Philadelphia, LaSalle Nursing Program, St. Christopher's Hospital, Einstein Hospital and Nutritional Food Program.
