I was going out of town for the weekend and at the last minute, realized that my hair was looking pretty "blah." It was the day before I was leaving, and couldn't get in to see my normal hairstylist. On a whim, I called Colours and spoke with Lucy - she was able to get me for a cut and color in time for my trip. Right away, she was super friendly and accommodating, even with my whirlwind booking.



When I got to the salon for my appointment, she was immediately warm and thoughtful. She brewed me a cup of tea and sliced up an orange that came from a tree at her home. She made me feel welcome, like an old friend.



Then, the cut and color. Well, the short story is that she did a fabulous job! I let her use her imagination and experience to determine how my hair should look. And she did not disappoint. I was extremely happy with the end result. She has an eye for what would be the perfect look for an individual, and is precise in achieving it. Coupled with her wonderful ease and personable attitude, it was a great visit!

Lucy has done an OUTSTANDING job with my hair! I came in with a really really bad case of a coloring job gone wrong so my hair was in bad shape. She defiantly came to my rescue I left the salon feeling confident that my hair was in pheonominal shape beautiful,healthy, and vibrant and honestly I thought would NEVER happen. To top that off she gives you VIP service; that special one and one treatment to which makes you feel like a valued customer.

Lucy is an artist when it comes to hair. She can work with any type of hair. I have unruly curly hair and I've been going to her for the last seven years. She gives me an excellent hair cut every time and intuitively knows what will look good. She listens to what I want, and really cares about her clients. I've also gone to her for updos for special occasions, and I always get compliments on my hair! She is very talented and experienced. Lucy always does a beautiful job, and makes me feel so good about myself. She offers the best attention to detail and does a wonderful job every time.

Lucy is THE BEST eyebrow waxer that I have ever found !!!



She isn't the type of stylist to finish the job in "just 5 minutes" but carefully takes the time to wax, pluck and shape my eyebrows to perfection.



Even when my eyebrows grow in super bushy (being busy with school and since I live far) when I do see her, she ALWAYS amazes me with transformation of my brows. There have been times when I "accidentally" pluck one hair too many (you know you've done this in the past) and she fixes it !



For those who do not know her, LUCY IS a PERFECTIONIST and perfection is what you will get if you see her. She is very motherly, caring and truly loves what she does. You can see it by the way she treats you and doesn't care how long it takes to get the job done to her standards.



I have been a client to Lucy faithfully for the past 6-7 years and followed her from Regis to Colours. Even after I have moved to San Jose, I still travel to see her because she is worth it !!!!!!!!

Lucy does the most amazing work ever!I came in tohave Lucy put in extentions,156 pieces and not onlydid she put them in with perfection but she also washed my hair, cut it, called in a take-out order for me from a nearby restraunt as i was there from 4:30p.m.-11:00 p.m. ! Even tho i was getting antsy, she did everything to make me comfortable,be it a new magazine, a cold drink and offering me breaks when i needed them.She was not going to let me leave until she was satisfied with her work. which was a masterpiece! She is so kind,she couldve charged me so much more but knowing im a single mother all she was worried about was making sure that i felt beautiful!I would reccommend her highly! She couldve hurried me along, she was planning on going to church that evening, as my hair took alot longer than either of us expected but to her her clients take priority. God sure did bless her, shes a wonderful lady and an awesome hairdresser!!!!
