Horrible company, the owner is an absolute joke, he's extremely unprofessional, the electricians sent out to my house barley got the job done and it was terrible work. DONT USE REDS ELECTRIC

I used Red's Electric Company, Inc in November. They installed three new cable TV cables in our house. We are satisfied with them. We have been using them for the last five years. They havent been any surprises so far. They seem to be highly competent and experienced.

I live in a 10 unit condo building. The building is quite old, although renovated. We had a tricky situation in that we have 1 water heater for the entire building. The water heater is in the same basement room as the boiler. The setup is such that if either unit is on, a fan turns on to exhaust, completely, any gases. The motor on the fan went out so no hot water or heat. I called Red's on a Saturday and spoke with Brian (I was very quickly connected to him, via a page) who dispatched Alan. Alan had to move around some personal things but was to our place in less than 2 hours. He replaced the motor (also adding an on/off switch to the motor, which is proper code although our developer did not do that). He got us back up and running in 90 minutes. Alan was friendly but professional. He was very responsive and was easy to work with. He seemed quite knowledgeable. His work was clean and neat. He also cleaned up after himself. We needed new wiring and breaker box for water heater replacement.Red's responded very quickly to my request (called at 3:30 PM on 01/11 and had an electrician at my door at 8:00 AM on 01/12)!!! The electrician did arrive on time, analyzed the situation, and went to work immediately. I am extremely pleased with their work, and would highly recommend to all!!!

Fixed a small wiring problem with our electrical panel; replaced two outlets. The master electrician who did our work, Doyle, was terrific. He arrived early, diagnosed the problem within minutes, and was able to make the repair quickly. It's only been a few hours, but everything seems to be working great (knock on wood). We'd definitely work with Red's and Doyle again in the future.

Replace 10 wall receptacles (3 of them GFI), installed bathroom light fixture plus a variable wall switch, repaired malfunctioning overhead can light, intalled new ceiting outlet to connect electric garage door opener and performed a brief inspection of our wiring and breaker box. Advised us on the need for further electrical work. An extremely positive eperience from start to finish. The electrician (Mark) was extremely pleasant, thorough, courteous and professional. He is obviously very experienced and knowlegeable. He finished the job in only four hours where we had anticipated it would take most of the day. He did a great job and explained everything as he went along. Sometimes he needed to repeat explanations for my wife, which he did with patience and courtesy. We apprreciative of not only his workmanship but of the advise he gave us regarding the status of our wiring (we have aluminum wiring) which allayed of the concerns we had about the safety of aluminum wiring.

Description Of Work: Red's Electric Company fixed some of my lighting fixtures, doorbell, install lights in the garage, light for my patio, and put a switch on the outside. They were excellent. They had excellent customer service. They cleaned up well after themselves. They were very efficient and got busy right away. They were friendly and nice.

We were very pleased with their service. They detected the problem very quickly. They figured out is was something outside of the house. They immediately called the local electric company to make sure that they was no problems with him repairing it from the box. They went that extra mile and made sure everything was done according to code and inspection. They saved us quite a bit of money.

Description Of Work: Red's Electric company came out after hours in an emergency. They were able to find out that we needed to call the power company. I was very pleased with them. I liked the fact that they were very prompt and came when I needed them. I thought that the price was reasonable especially for after hours. The quality of their work was good because they did find the problem.

3 different electricians (not from Red's) had done work and promised problem was solved. but every season my holiday lights would go out when I needed them most. Red's came one day and tried an inexpensive conservative approach. The problem returned following day. Red's then sent Ryan (Master Electrician) who strongly recommended burying cable 2 feet down and attaching 3 new plug-ins (accommodating 4 cords each) No more extension cords! PROBLEM SOLVED!! It was a great experience! Description Of the Work: Added outside electrical outlets for seasonal decorating on home built in 1928. Buried cable 2 feet down in ground to keep water out. ~Trudie Williams, Portland OR
