Sakura Japanese Steak, Seafood House & Sushi Bar

we did the combination / split rice . meat meal. My son asked for steak with his, luckily he wasnt allergic to shellfish because he got shrimp on his plate. My husband was to get 1/2 the steak with son, he got nothing but a little plate of rice. No shrimp, no steak, no scallaps. It was my daughtes birthday so we did not want to complain and ruin her day as she loves sukuras. My husband did say, he got nothing on his plate and the cook never even offered?? So everyone at the table gave him some of their steak. How can they charge us 26.99 for a plate of rice? And then my son got shrimp which he does not even like. Needless to say, the price is way over priced and not worth it and they throw anything in anyones plate no matter what you asked for. The salad was horrible. I give it a thumbs down.

I love Sakura, I know the staff very well and everything is good. My family goes there a lot. Very good cooked food and Sushi!

Sakura is OK for me. Really not worth the price. We mostly like sushi and it is not very good here. I've eaten at the Sakura in Bowie, MD as well, and at least it's consistenly average in both locations. The service personel are curteous.
