Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters

I'm a bit of a homebody, so if I drive from Moscow just to have my "Hammer Time," it must be good. And it is -- outstanding, hot (finally!) drip coffee, a good assortment of bites (love the breakfast burrito, even though I hate breakfast!), a welcoming without being too hipster environment, and wonderful baristas who carry on pleasant but not intrusive conversation while making my drink. Love the assortment of Hammer tchotchkes, too -- cups, mugs, shirts, caps, etc., plus brewing supplies. A great place to go alone or to meet someone. Its success is no surprise. (Bonus: They remembered me, name AND drink AND Moscow habitat, on, like, the second visit!) I'm not that interesting; they're that friendly and professional. KEM

First things first, the phone number listed here is NOT right. It's 509-334-BEAN. As far as their coffee, they are amazing. I work at WSU and Thomas Hammer supplies our dining center. We are always getting complements on how good our coffee is. They are a relatively small company, but very customer oriented. I think I have about 5 different types of T Hammer cups. Some were perks, and the rest I bought. My wife and I have switched to buying their whole bean coffees, because besides being reasonably priced, they also give you a discount towards a drink when you buy their coffee!
