Don't believe anything they say about it's about the Veteran not just a credit rating. Many of us vets know what has happened to our credit because we were stupid enough to serve our country. Then they offer all this BS sugar coated crap about how they loan. I've had 3 loans with them, using my Acura TL for collateral and never missed a payment. When my car got totaled they would only grant a 12,000 loan that is less than 1/4 the value of the car towards a new loan. No income issues, 100% disabled with combined income of 48,000 and no other loans. Just a bad credit rating, primarily medical bills on dispute status with VA. When I asked why since the difference in payment for something at least adequate was $38.00! The answer came back "We just go off your credit union report", which of course makes everything they said at the beginning to be just another bullsh... Lie. Don't trust a word they say. Go shop around for a financial institution that is honorable, not just another rip off a vet scam.
