the Yellow Pages reviews are as far back as 2013, and not actually used as reasonable references. I am a full fledged (unbiasedbens to YP) repeat customer of Rubens with 3 different cars serviced to date. My experiences have always been a 5 star with quality work and honesty from all times. The concern they show has been genuine and they have also saved me $$$ on P/L. The YP review about bad Mgr ...he's probably no longer there as then 2013 and now 2018. I HIGHLY Recommend them. You'll lose out if you don't. Thanks, "Jazz"

Provided by Superpagesi actually just now recommended Rubens to a very good friend of mine today. Collectively my extended family has about 8 vehicles. We have trusted Rubens to work on ALL of them over the past 7years. They have never let us down. They are honest and trustworthy. Period.

I have a mixed review on Ruben's and I'll try and be as detailed as I can with the short amount of space I am allotted. I took my Honda there due to an electrical issue it had. They claimed they fixed it, so I went and picked it up and took it home. When I got home, I tested the lights, turn signals, wipers, and radio (Granted, I should have done this before I left their shop.) Lo and behold the same issue came up. When I took it back that same afternoon, I questioned the manager as to what it was that they had fixed. Apparently this manager took exception to my questioning and was disrespectful and unprofessional in return. My opinion is this. If I am a paying customer, I have the right to ask questions and get answers. Furthermore, the manager is seriously lacking in people skills and customer service. His response clearly showed he is in over his head as manager and lacks education. Having said that, I can say that was my only negative experience with Ruben's Auto Repair. I spoke with Ruben (the owner) and he was very apologetic and promised to fix my car. The mechanic who worked on my car was also very apologetic and promised to make it right. Ruben's Auto Repair had my car ready the next day and found the issue it had. To date, the issue hasn't returned, so I assume they fixed it once and for all. Would I recommend Ruben's? Yes, I would feel comfortable enough to do so. It appears they know what they are doing and Ruben seems to be genuinely concerned with how the customer feels and is treated. The only reason I gave Ruben's three stars was because of the manager and his mouth. It may not be fair to Ruben's, but if you have that manager representing your shop, then you have to live with his actions.

Provided by SuperpagesI never write reviews, but I really felt I needed to with Rubens. The owner and his team are fantastic people. They are very helpful and kind. Yes. I said kind. The work and customer service is excellent. Ruben takes pride in his business and runs it very well.

My Experence with Ruben's Auto Repair was Excellent.. Very Professional High Educated Mechanic's on Staff were able to Pin Point My issue with my vehical and get me back on the road in no time..

Provided by SuperpagesI took my car to a local auto repair shop. After telling me I needed multiple repairs, I wasnt to sure about it. So I took my car to ruben's (recommended by a friend). They evaluated my car and said I didnt need as much as the other shop had said.Ruben's auto repair is a great place to take your vehicle. They provide great customer service, they took the time to explain everything thing my car needed it and why also. This made my experience comforting.

Provided by SuperpagesThey are ok. The workmanship has been faltering over the years. I take my car in and every time something else is wrong with it. They stripped a lug nut when they did my brakes, and when I brought it back they tried to say they didn't do it. I had an alternator put in and the VERY SAME DAY the lights were dimming. I called them up and they told me I had to bring it back b/c the alternator they installed was bad. So they put in another, and another. They changed my alternator 3x's. While waiting there was a lady next to me who said it was her 3rd time coming in for the same problem. I haven't taken my cars back to them since.
