Santa Ana Tire & Brake

I will keep this review 100%. I took in my truck for an alignment and while it was great about a month later the truck started to shift to the right and I experienced brake issues totally unrelated to the alignment and I personally changed the drums, brake cylinders, springs and shoes on the rear and just swapped out the front pads and pins. I, for the life of me couldn't bleed out the brake lines to the rear, very little brake fluid was purging. I took off line per line and pressurized with air and cleared out any debri but I was still having issues. Well took the truck in to get the alignment taken care of and while it was there I asked them to look at the brakes for me as one of them was staying applied long enough that in stop and go traffic I would notice the drum would have excessive heat. They called me and they said that they saw one of my seals was leaking grease and they recommended I take care of it as some of the grease was slipping into the brake assembly and that was dangerous. I had it replaced and took it for a drive within the hour it got hot enough that you can smell it. Took it back spoke to the owner and he said he will make sure to take care of the issue. Let me tell you folks.. all the great reviews are sooooo true! This man made it his personal mission to make sure that it was fixed. He called me a couple of days later due to a weekend and he said please take the truck for a test drive and let me know if you experience any issues. I stopped picked up the truck and they told me to test drive it for a day or two and if I saw any issues to please bring it back..Well the issue is gone! The truck runs like a champ, brakes on a dime and no heating concerns. The bill was not anywhere near what I expected, in fact, it was much much less. These are hard times but let me tell you these guys are truly amazing. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Santa Ana Tire & Brake, you guys are a blessing!

I don't know nothing about cars. I took my vehicle in to get fixed not knowing what it could. The shop manager Edgar and his crew explained everything where I could understand. Explained how it happened and how to prevent other problems, showed me prices so I knew I wasn't getting screwed over with my lack of knowledge. 5 stars isn't enough for these guys. Il never take my vehicle anywhere else.

I have been very pleased with the work and service at this location. Edgar the guy i have transacted with, did a great job of explaining the problems, no oversells and no pressure to do the work on the spot. My truck was running great after the Balljoints were done and a brake job. I would be happy to recommend his services to anyone that wanted a fair deal.

Got my fuel pump fixed here and they did an excellent job. If I could give them ten stars I would. They are the go to mechanics in San Antonio. I highly recommend them.

I couldn't be any happier with these guys. The manager up front took good care of me and my wife. They are family oriented an will help you out the best they can. Got my engine rebuild on my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado best price in town. They do free diagnostic checks. I got referred by a friend an I will let more people knoe about them. I am very pleased!
