Sundance Kennels Inc

Our pup just stayed for only one day at this kennel from 9-5pm. He seemed to have been ok there and his report card on him from Kathy the manager was excellent. The next day he started making a strange huffing sound. I informed the manager Kathy of this just to be proactive in case something was going on at the kennel or with our dog, thinking she would want to be made aware of it. We told her we made an apt with our Vet just for him to be checked out to be on the safe side. Since he was going to be there again in two days. Instead, of her being appreciative, she told us not to come back. I was so shocked by her behavior for no reason. When I asked her why? She said because I can. She is extremely defensive, rude, abrasive and overly sensitive when you ask questions. I don't see this kennel being around that much longer if she treats her customers this way. I have to agree with the previous reviews that gave this kennel only one star. Wish I would have read the previous reviews before we went there.

I don't know what the hew ha is all about but this place is great. We boarded our boys for 8 days and could not be happier. I was nervous leaving them because one of the dogs had never been kenneled.. The two woman that run the place could not have been any nicer so maybe the people who said they were nasty had a bad attitude. Just saying. The young girl who takes care of the dogs is also wonderful and made me feel very comfortable leaving my babies with them. When we picked them up they seemed to be fine and happy. I know we have found a new place that our boys will be staying when we go away. . Thanks Sundance for taking such wonderful care of our boys!!!!!

I just moved into the area and was looking for a dog groomer. I visited Sundance and wanted to find out if they groom Bichon Frise dogs. I walked into a very clean establishment, considering what I had seen in other sites. I was taken by the professionalism and politeness of the receptionist. I was starting to think I found my groomer! Then I met the owner. She was not polite, rather sarcastic and rude. She seemed like I was taking too much of her time and I felt rushed and belittled. She told me she felt I should go elsewhere to groom my dog! And that's exactly what I did. If she treates dogs like she treats people, then I feel sorry for the poor animals that come into her business to be groomed.



In order to make another person's experience better, Sundance should not allow visitors to come in during a certain time. The owner should have taken my name and phone number and called me to set up a time to visit the establishment so we could sit down and discuss the questions that I had.
