Although I have lived only walking distance from Hidden Hills Animal Hospital for over 10 years, I recently visited them for the first time days ago. While at work I got a call from my husband telling me that our 6 lb Shorkie was bleeding and he couldn't tell where it was coming from. I stopped at Hidden Hills to ask how soon they could see him and even though it was late in the day, I was told by the very pleasant Dr's assistant that they could see him right then if I wanted to go and get him. I returned in about 15 minutes with "Gizmo". The office was very pleasant and clean. I really like the separate dog/cat entrances and waiting rooms. Both the Doctor and his assistant took the time to answer any questions I had and explain what was going on with Gizzie and what may have caused it. They even anticipated some questions that I hadn't thought of yet. They took a history, weight , examined him and prescribed antibiotics. It turns out that he had a UTI. I was brand new to their practice and yet they were very considerate, thorough and professional. Both I and Gizzie received great treatment. Receiving that kind of caring treatment in a time of need means a lot! I think Gizzie has a new vet!

I waited a few days to write this as my daughters and I are trying to recover. My beautiful dog needed urgent care he was breathing heavy. I took him to Hidden Hills Animal Hospital. I wanted to wait for the vet since it was close 9:00 am when the vet normally arrives, but after indicating that I wanted to wait the receptionist told me he wouldn’t actually be in the clinic until 9:30 and that I should just leave him. Thinking he would be in good care, I left my precious baby in the hands of the most slack unprofessional care.
I received a call at work from the vet stating that his x-ray machine was broken, but from what he could tell, my dog had either pneumonia or the flu. I asked the vet if he would administer a breathing treatment or something to help my dog breath better. Initially he said there was no need for this type of treatment, but then I received a call back to inform me that he was prescribing cough drops and that would be an extra charge to the bill.
When I picked up my dog, again the vet was not there. When I saw my dog he was bleeding from the mouth. The assistant told me that was normal and “just wipe the blood off his mouth off and give him pills every 12 hours. When I got him home he died 3 hours later dying a bloody painful death in my 15 year old daughter’s arms. To make matters worse, this vet took no responsibility for the lack of treatment and care.
Don’t let the clean ambiance of the facilities fool you. Stay away from this practice if your animal needs treatment.

Provided by SuperpagesMy dog, Tiko, has been going to Hidden Hills for over four years now. They are very friendly and detailed when going over his care. I am able to drop him off on the way to work and pick him up on the way home. No rushing or waiting. I trust them with my baby and would surely recommend them to others. ~~Kamilah

Provided by SuperpagesI have been using the services of Hidden Hills since 2004, I have the upmost confidence in the DVM and staff. From the reception I receive to the treatment my baby (rottie) receive is exceptional. I drive from the North Lawrenceville area to Stone Mountain gladly for my baby. I love the fact that I can board my baby and not have to worry if he is being treated well! A friend of mine offered me the number to her neighbor who is a DVM and in Lawrenceville, I declined the offer knowing chances are I will not receive the care for my baby that I get from the Hidden Hills DVM and staff. Happily making the trip from Lawrenceville.

I found that the staff is very kind, the Doctor is very knowledgeable, and very caring towards animals. I would return there for care for my beagle , "Beasely" and my African Gray Parrot "Lester". The facility was clean and no odors. One of the best in the area! They saved my Aunt's dog from a car injury last year.

They have very friendly staff, a pleasant enviroment(smells good, no pet odors), and the Doctor (Norwood) is very knowledgeable and seems skilled in many areas! They offer many services like Boarding, grooming, surgery, and even see exotics! The staff and the Doctor just seem genuine and caring. Overall the Hospital is liking finding a Gem in the forrest!!!

Provided by SuperpagesI actually obtained a dog from this establishment. Hidden Hills rescued a dog and cared for it free of charge. I saw the dog, adopted it, and received discounts on services. Great place!!!
