All About Me Salon & Day Spa

I went to All About Me last year when my sister recommended them. Then, I got highlights but you could barely see them at all so I hadn't been back since. Two days ago, I went in for an all over color and showed a picture of the color I wanted. I left with my hair half black and half brown. I called back and asked for a redo and showed the picture again. Today, I left the spa with completely orange hair. My hair used to be black. I'm never going back there, even if they do think they can fix it. I just want the $100 I spent for this ridiculous color back. It's a great shame, too, because the woman who did my hair is a great person.

I have been seeing Jenny for about 2 years. She did fine maintaining my long hair with layers that were already in place when I first started seeing her. I decided to go to medium length hair, which I had before. I brought in pictures if my previous cuts with attention to the style and layering I had. In addition, I expressed my expectations of wanting it framed to my face. I also told her my highlights were beginning to wash out my face. I wanted to "brighten up" color. I left with the worst cut I ever had and the color as washed out as before. I called the next day to express my dissatisfaction and Jenny never called me back. Horrible!

I decided to go here after reading all the great reviews about this place. I went to see Jenna as she was recommended by many of the reviewers here. She is one of the senior stylist at this salon. Unfortunately, I did not have the same great experience here. I was extremely disappointed with my hair cut and color. My scalp was burned from the dye Jenna placed on my hair. The next day after my hair cut, I was horrified to find that the top of my scalp was filled with scabs. Her hair cut was also extremely disappointing. I asked for layers. I have no idea what she did to my hair. There is absolutely no style or symmetry to my hair. THe layers were cut crooked as were my bangs. She blow dried my hair without styling it and just used a curling iron to curl it. It wasn't until I washed my hair that I realized what a horrible job she did.

Needless to say, this was a horrific experience for me! Never again would I step foot in that place.

Racheal is the best waxing lady I have ever been to!!! I have had terrible experiences with other waxing ladies and often times hesitant to try someone new. I have been going to Racheal for about 2 years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. She is fast and thorough. She makes you feel super comfortable and makes you feel like you can tell her anything. Recently I went through a lot of stuff and found that telling Racheal made me feel better. She really cares about her customers. She is simply awesome!!!

Just wanted to let you know that Jenna, Gia, Alison, and Michele have moved to a new salon located at 414 Delaware Avenue. The salon is called Tranquille hair and body. They are not telling people where they have re-located to so I am taking it upon myself to inform their clients who are in need of their services because they are what made that salon!!!! I went to All About Me to find this place was very clean and the people were very friendly. I then had my hair done with Cindy and was thrilled with the hilights and cut she gave me. I made another appt for waxing and to my surpprise the girl made me feel very comfortable while waxing a private area. This is a big deal to me since I get waxed regularly. I had yet to find a place where I felt comfortable with the person doing it, not just making conversation to take my mind off the pain you know? She was a genuine person with genuine conversation. Overall the place is very classy and the employees are all wonderful people and great at what they do. I think they must have a very difficult test you need to pass to get a job there or something because I've never herd of anyone unhappy from going there, these people know their stuff!
