Overall

The worst ever. Couldn't diagnose a frozen pipe in 3 days. Completely skipped an appointment without notification and without reason. Left us without water and heat for 3 days in sub-zero weather.



Unknown leak, complex turned off water.



Day 1, the plumber showed up for half an hour and said he needed a special tool to continue so he left.



Day 2, he showed up, destroyed the shower diverter, and said something was stuck so he couldn't go on.



Day 3, appointment was made but plumber did not show up and did not call. We called them but they never picked up the phone. We complained to our home warranty company 2-10. The owner lied to 2-10 that there was no appointment - but I have an email confirmation. The owner also said that it is safe now for us to turn on our water. We turned it on and downstairs was raining!



Asked 2-10 to find another plumber because we were out of water, out of heat for 3 days in freezing weather. Another company came out on a very snowy day and did that B's Plumbing should have done on the first day: cut open the wall, found a frozen pipe with a crack almost a foot long, cut the section off and capped the cold and hot water pipes. We finally got our water and heat back after 3 long days in deep winter.



For 3 days this company could not identify a serious frozen pipe problem. And they were so unprofessional that they made us wait for them on Day 3 and then completely skipped our appointment. We were without water and heat for 3 days as a result of this incompetent and unprofessional company.

Overall

I contacted B's Plumbing because the Whirlpool uses this company and one other in the area to service their water tanks. I set up an appointment for the 24th of September 2013. Upon arriving to the house he notice a few irregularities in the way the tank was installed. He openly criticized the installers for which I felt was unprofessional. He did not listen to the installers as to why the control panel was not inserted into the tank or the thermostat tight against the tank. The reasons was that the tank kept overheating and the release valve would release the water thus flooding the floors I the basement.



After he "repaired" the tank he informed me that it was not covered by the warranty because it was not installed properly. Ok, fine he charged me $95 for the service call and 47.50 for a few minutes of work. With tax the total bill came out to $147.50.



The next day I noticed that the water was cold. I called the next morning the manufacturer and they told me the plumbing company is supposed to make it right. Therefore, I called B's Plumbing and they said he would come out that afternoon. That afternoon the plumber called and told me he didn't want to come out without getting paid. Despite the fact I told him that the manufacturer said he must make it right, he insisted he wanted to get paid for another service visit. I told him I was not going to pay him because it was supposed to be fixed by him already. He said he would call the manufacturer and get back to me that night. He did not and I ended up facing the weekend without warm water. In effect, the plumber did less than nothing because he left me worse off than before.



I not only do not recommend this plumbing company, I would advise costumers to find another company to meet their plumbing needs.

B's Plumbing is by far the worse company i've ever dealt with. They don't even deserve 1 star! We had a new water heater installed and when the technician drained the old water heater and ended up flooding my basement leaving a mess to clean up! He refused to finish cleaning up the water or to call his company to request someone come out to make sure the walls did not get wet. When i called the office manager, she promised to call him and then call me back right away. I never received a call back. I left a message later that evening with the owner on his cell phone letting him know that the new water heater was leaking and that I was not satisfied and that i wanted him to come look at the mess that his technician left. He never returned my call. I have never to this day received paperwork for the service or my warranty for the new water heater. I've found siminar reviews out there of customers who had the same issues. Check out the complaints on the BBB before you make your decision. Unfortunately, our Home warranty company sent this company but i guarantee that will not happen again. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY!
