A Service Company We are constantly bringing in new product lines to the shop and ever increasing the existing ones. We are working with several distributors and manufacturers to be able to carry "Full Line" product selection. We want to provide modelers with a variety of choices from small parts, to hardware, to radios, to engines, to the latest airplanes, helicopters, and cars. We are constantly looking for new items that make building and assembling more enjoyable. The hobby industry has changed quite a bit with the advent of the internet. Today a person can connect to the internet and within a matter of minutes make a purchase. While this is a great service from a purchase standpoint, the experience and knowledge of the product does not exist on the computer screen. Your local hobby shop provides the experience and knowledge to insure you get the correct items you need to build a successful model and to provide valuable insight on the products that are currently available. A "1-800 Technical Line" will never replace the person behind the counter that has the hands-on experience!! Support your favorite local hobby shop whoever that may be. History Some Dudes Hobby Shop opened its doors to the public on October 13th, 2001. The proprietors - Pat Schouten and Bob Wood - want to build a hobby shop that will cater to the needs of the R/C Aeromodeler, R/C Car and Boat Enthusiast.
