Harrington Hotel

Booked three nights at the Hotel Harrington, in downtown DC, and thrilled with the location. The hotel is 104 years old, and shows signs of its age. However the chipped paint, dents in the skirting boards and aged elevators are part of the fabric of this hotel, and it's history. Our room was clean and tidy, and thrilled to get a hot water jug (vs a coffee maker) included. The front desk team are really helpful, and can provide a comprehensive list of local eateries. Price is good, considering the location and the near-by competition.

The location is just a half block from Trump Hotel Centrally located in DC. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Room rates are very reasonable would 100% stay there again & refer to friends. This historic hotel has been there for over 100 years. A clean & comfortable place. Enjoy your stay:)

So comfortable Hotel here. We spent nice days in Washington D.C.

Stayed in two rooms for a family of 9 during April. Typical of many older style hotels (100 years) now surrounded by a modern city. Perfect location, basic rooms in original building.

The Harrington was ideal for exploring Washington - everything was within walking distance, and the very few tourist things that weren't, were easily accessed by bus or metro - both located just a block away.

The rooms were basic by modern hotel standards, but beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, Smithsonian, etc. Included a basic restaurant off the hotel lobby, but many other more interesting dining options also just a short walk away.

If the hotel itself is your destination, probably best to stay clear. But if exploring Washington DC is your goal, and the hotel just somewhere to sleep, the Harrington was excellent value in an excellent location.

The location was absolutely fabulous in the parking was very reasonable. The staff was very accommodating. It is an older hotel so rooms are older however it was perfect for the price. We would absolutely stay again
